NEW FEATURE of the Mendocino Time Bank!
Did you know that you can share more than just time with the Mendo Time Bank? The time bank can also be used to share or borrow items from fellow community members.
Do you own a drill but only use it for 10-20 minutes out of the year? Do you need to build something but don’t want to invest in a drill that you’ll only use once or twice?
This situation can be resolved by simply listing your drill on the time bank so that other members know it’s available.
The Mendocino Time Bank takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items, but based on similar item sharing networks throughout the country we know that won’t be a problem here in Mendocino County.
If you want to list items that may be available for borrowing in your account follow the directions below.
1. Login to your account
2. Click “Post a new offer or service” under the “Current Offers” tab underneath the map
3. Under “Service Category”, click “miscellaneous”
4. For “Ad Title” put something like items, goods, tools…etc.
5. In the “Description” section, list the items that you are willing to lend to people, for example hammer, truck, drill, hula hoop, tent, skis…etc.
6. Fill out the rest of the form as normal. In the time available chart, you can either fill this section out at random, or you can list the times that you’d be available to drop off or have someone pick up an item from you.
7. Press Save and that’s it!

Get Involved
Want to get involed with Mendo Time Bank? Join the STEERING COMMITTEE and JOB TEAMS for MTB. A few people have put in countless hours to get MTB going. Now it's time for more people to participate so we can expand our membership and activities.
Please join us if you could contribute 2-10 hours/month to keep MTB going strong. You will earn Time Dollars for all of the work you do.
One member from each team will attend a monthly Steering Committee meeting. The role of Job Teams may change as MTB evolves. If you don't like to participate in meetings but you want to support MTB, there are MANY jobs that can be done at home, with e-mail and phone communication.
